Consulting Timetable
Do you only see patients by appointment?
Patients can only be seen by appointment only.
Appointment Intervals
Please bear in mind that in general most orthodontic treatment visits are between 8-10 weeks apart, and that the diary is always booked up 8-10 weeks in advance, so changing appointments can be somewhat difficult. If you should need to cancel an appointment, please give consideration to other patients and do so at the earliest opportunity, rather than at the last minute. We would therefore kindly request that 48 hours or 2 working days notice of any cancellation be given so that the appointment may be offered to another patient.
Cancellation List
A cancellation list is also in operation, so if it is the case that you are able to come in at short notice, please make Clare Bull aware of this at the time of your call.
Emergencies
For genuine orthodontic emergencies, we will always try to deal with these as and when they arise, to ensure that our private patients are seen quickly without delay. Patients are offered an emergency appointment on the next available clinic day and this will usually be in the morning.
New Patients awaiting treatment
New patients starting treatment are always given the first available treatment appointment, which is normally around 8-10 weeks ahead. This allows sufficient time to sort out contact details, consent forms and finance arrangements.
Initial Orthodontic Consultation Assessment
The consultation fee will range from £150 to £200 . If however, you have private medical insurance cover, your insurer may well cover the cost of the initial consultation, so please consult your healthcare provider in the first instance for a pre-authorisation number.
